The back of the neck is painted the dark color of the burst (while the headstock has the light color of the burst).

Is the back of the neck also painted, . . . or is it the standard black with carbon weave visible?

Yes Lisa, it will add $100 retail to any model. I'm picturing a burst dreadnought with unidirectional top and a sexy little Parlor with the new burst finish. What do you think?

BTW, I have been so impressed with the new 12-string dreadnought we got in that my next personal Rainsong will more than likely be a tobacco burst CO-DR3000T.

Ted,

A burst Dread and Parlor will be fantastic! Man, Rainsong has really stepped it up. The burst adds a whole new dimension to their guitars!

Hey Lisa,

I do have a WS3000 12 String Burst on order. They were saying 8 to 10 weeks and it's been just a little over 3 weeks since I placed the order with Michael @ MacNichol's.

Got a little while to wait yet but I'll make sure I post pics after I recieve it.

I have been wanting a 12-string Rainsong ever since I bought my Shortie. A WS3000 in burst sounds fantastic.

Looking forward to the pics.

Oh yeah! Very nice. I'd love to see that same configuration with a smaller white mother of pearl rosette.
