1937-1939 Kay K-62 " Television" Archtop (price drop x2) SOLD OFF AGF
Sold off AGF.
As I am not an archtop player, much as I have tried, I thought I would offer this top of the line Kay guitar and very rare model (only made over three years) to AGF folks at (reduced again ) $2200 Net to me. I have also added a trade option at around $2500, also reduced. This is one of those under-the-bed guitars that we rarely find any more. Please see Reverb listing. It is crack-free, carved solid woods, with all original parts (except tuners). Even the case is original. Overall, very good plus to excellent original condition. Has just had a set-up, frets cleaned and polished and in great condition for the new owner. The original tuners are also included. Period correct replacements. More importantly, this guitar has "it" of great presence, playability and vintage tone. https://reverb.com/item/8579626-kay-...atural-archtop Key specs: 17" lower bout 1 11/16" nut width 25 3/4" scale length Condition: Near excellent by Reverb scale, with one small doink and several small scratches that are hard to see. No buckle rash. Tuners replaced this week, but originals will be included. Everything else original. See listing on Reverb for details and more photos. Great vintage tone. Bright and forward. This one is special. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Bob

Bump for adding photos!
A great guitar here, folks, for those who like jazz, swing and blues. A very rare top-end guitar from the late 1930s.

My God, that guitar takes "cool" to a whole new level. Killer guitar Bob.
If I was an archtop guy I would buy that immediately. In fact it makes me want to be an archtop guy just so I CAN buy it. A+ person and seller here folks. Complete integrity, no worries!

Wow!
That looks like it is incredible shape for it's age. Out of my budget, but you do not find guitars of this age in this shape. What a beauty, some jazz/blues player is going to be very stoked to find this gem.

You might get a bargain--now listed on eBay
This is a great looking, great sounding, vintage carved archtop. It looks better than the photos and sounds incredible.
