super champ x2 speaker
have a super champ x2 and am looking to replace the stock speaker. want a warmer less brittle sound with my tele. play mostly rhythm in a praise band but some lead. play club gigs also. am looking at the eminence lil buddy. anyone have any experience with this speaker.

No experience, but I will recommend talking to Weber. They make great speakers for Fender amps and could probably steer you to something suitable.

Found this recently when I was looking for Celestion Alnico Gold samples.
The Celestion Greenback might also fit the bill. I think Weber do their own version of that. |

I recently swapped the speaker in my new X2 to this one, I play a Strat, but only playing and taking lessons for about a year and a half. The sound is much cleaner, like flipping the TV from a regular channel to an HD channel, the sounds are clearer, and certainly much louder. There's much more lower end to sort of help out the slight "acoustic" settings I dial in. It took about a month for it to settle in and for me to get used to the difference, but there's no way I'd take it back out now, I love it.
