Here's my bottom-feeder - a $99 Douglas. Better than it has any right to be.

Gotta love 'em! They're simple, they're versatile and they're durable as all get out. I'm still playing the same one I got back in the 60s. No matter what else came apart over all those years, my Telecaster didn't... and it's still firing every single time. AMAZING!

This my copy of the Don Grosh take on the Tele. This is one of the finest guitars I've ever had the pleasure of playing:

Mine is kinda like this one but has a Mastery bridge and another pickup in the center (Nashville Special) so I can get the Strat tones. Also has David Allen neck and bridge pickups. Oh man do I love this guitar play it all the time. Twang to die for and love the Bigsby to death.

Telecaster..............the "all-purpose" tool! Leo's Masterpiece! Here is mine. 1967 Fender body from the initial issue of Teles with Bigsby's. I have a hard time putting this guitar down!

My first 'real' guitar was an utterly butchered early 1970s Tele with a dreadful paint job. But I loved it. Sold it many many years ago. Recently bought a '72 Custom reissue which I also love. But now I'm jonesing for a 'straight' Tele.

MAN, there are some SEXY Teles in this thread! but, for me these guitars make me drool! I know people talk about Strats being Sexy, but there is just something about a cool Tele, and AGF has an abundance!
