Tim and I are enjoying the details of this instrument. It is our pleasure to be a part of your show.
Bob I have one more thing up my sleeve to advertise for and at this show.

Hi, Tim and Mary,
This guitar featured here is so... LYRICAL! Yeah, that's the word! The entire theme of it is uplifting and fun. Applause to you! Really looking forward to seeing this one, and everything else, in Memphis. I hope everything in life and work moves in perfect grace for you between now and then!

When Bob discussed the Memphis guitar show with us a few years ago visions began rotating in my mind. Poor Tim has to be patient when I linger in and out of ideas. While I debate my ideas he often takes a deep breath and kind of, sort of suggests to not take to much time since time is more valuable on his work bench than it is in my head. I always draw out my initial thought and then I go back to it later. Once in a while I sit and ponder the features. However, if it still tickles my fancy then Tim gets the "go ahead." In this case, as with the McKnight Spar Guitar, I stayed with my instant idea. Al Pellegrini is holding his Spar Guitar at http://mcknightguitars.com/players.html Maybe I have gone overboard on this one, but it felt so Memphis to me even though I have never been to the fine city.

YEA!!! You win the free prize!
Prize ... was there a prize involved? I can't remember squat and therefore boldly proclaim that age has clouded my fleeting memory. |

anyone who grew up in the 60's and early 70's knows what it is. It was formally known as a 'thingamabobber" and some times a 'whatchamacallit" and only mothers knew where the were most of the time. They didnt survive ringer washer as well as guitar picks. It looks very cool on that guitar

I don't mean to insult anyone here, but that looks exactly like the bio-hazardous material warning label....

It's the kind that you inserted into the hole of the 45 record and LEFT it there. Not the kind that you left on the spindle of the record player. They were the thickness of the 45 record. The ones you left on the record player were substantially thicker.

According to some we need hazardous warning labels around the McGit loft area. A certain "Threepeat" McKnight Guitar owner has come to look a time or two, but has left with another order for an instrument in hand. Kurt (Eire) can tell you more about this.

Love this guitar ... everywhere you look there is a creative detail that ties in with an interesting feature somewhere else on the instrument ... genius!
