Sounds excellent! I would love to hear a 9-string configuration as well (like single 4 5 and 6th string).

I presently have my Seagull set up in a 10-string arrangement, minus the low E and A octave strings. I like it. It brings out the bass and leaves out that 'midrange' bass I hate with the octaves strings on, while retaining the high-end jangle. Easier to play, too.

I thought about trying a 7 string configuration as well.

Roger McGuin has something like that right?
