Default Anyone watching "Peaky Blinders" ?

I thought series one was OK, pretty good entertainment .... Good effort from the dear old BBC.

BUT ,,, Man Alive ! Series 2 is right up there with "The Godfather", "Breaking Bad", "Sopranos", "Boardwalk Empire", ,, whatever,,,, take your pick.
Cracking fake "period" stuff, with a great, atmospheric soundtrack, by the likes of Nick Cave, PJ Harvey AND John Lee Hooker !

Dark and dangerous .... Lovin' it.

. . .

I am just watching season 1 on Netflix. They don't have season 2 available yet. But I am excited to hear that season 2 is even better, since I'm diggin' on season 1 so much.

Hi Jon
Seen the trailers for this and it looks good. Is it really on a par with Breaking Bad? I loved that.

It's great viewing. It was filmed in my home city of Liverpool and it is great to see the way they have turned back time on the locations. The area and streets around the 'Garrison' pub are really there. They are around the Stanley dock which is an area on Victorian dockland.

Waitn on Netflix to get season 2. They are so slow. Is there some other way to see this but cable/sat? I cut my cable a long time ago and just stream.
