I've owned all the Lowdens, F, O and now S. I think the S is the best combination of tone and playability. Especially for finger style. GLWS. Someone will thank you when they snap it up.

Some specs & year of birth would help.

Thanks! Actually the string spacing at the saddle would help also. European builders don't seem to think it matters, so they never post it on their sites. But when you play fingerstyle, it makes a huge difference!

Lemme measure tonight and I'll update then. Cheers. UPDATE: 2 3/16 is my best measurement...seems right after a few tries.

2" 1/4 is the fretboard width @ 12th fret (57mm). I'm not used to Imperial measures but the space between the strings @12th fret is about 8,5 mm with a standard Lowden neck (fingerstyle neck is 45mm@ nut, 60mm@12th, which means a slightly wider string spacing there). IMHO the main difference is between the American standard and the Lowden @nut.
As a fingerstyle player I must confess that since I've got my S32J, I appreciate the 48mm/60mm fretboard (with a shallower neck) more and more... But my S50 has the same measurements as this 32 and it plays like butter too

It's a Lowden, so it's awesome. I think my string spacing at the saddle measurement is dead on and I think it's feels great, but I realize everyone has their preferences. I'd love to find this a home - reasonable offer will probably get her.

Both of the brand new ones on Reverb went up in price in the last couple weeks. $4350 and $4500+. I think my price is the steal of the century for this immaculate instrument. Scoop her up!
