Default Stuart Ryan plays Circa OOO maple

I was delighted to have highly renowned UK guitarist Stuart Ryan visit recently. He bought this superb Circa OOO with a European Spruce top and maple back and sides.

This guitar has been discussed in threads about Circa guitars and maple tone so I thought folks would like to hear Stuart playing it.

And here's a few photos.

Gorgeous sounding guitar. Every note so strong and clear. John is an amazing luthier. And of course, gorgeous playing also, so that we can hear how wonderful the guitar sounds.

well done and a nice sounding guitar, he seems to be reading music there and his technique and arrangement style is similar to a classical player.

Default Circa OOO Maple

I've been a regular customer of Trevor's at TAMCO in Brighton for several years. Stuart and I drove down together and I was keen for him to try the Circa. He loved it from the off and you can see from the video that he can't stop smiling. Whilst not being in the same league as Stuart, I played the Circa so that he could hear how it sounded. It was great to contribute to his decision to buy the guitar. They were meant to team up!

Trevor always has a great selection of North American guitars lovingly made by small luthiers. Make the trip sometime...you won't be disappointed.

By the way, that same day I purchased a wonderful McKnight Mini Mac which Stuart in turn played for me. It was a great purchase. Thanks Stuart, thanks Trevor.

I wanted to bump this up as there is a new video of Mr. Ryan playing this guitar and the arrangement and instrument are just astounding.

If anyone can help me with the embedding I'd appreciate it. I've never figured that one out! Worth the click!

The resonance and air that that guitar has in such skilled hands is remarkable.
