+1 for the Wildkat. Despite its ridiculous name, its a great guitar. Smaller and more ergonomic, attractive (IMHO), and a great feature set for the price. The two limited edition runs they've done recently (black with chrome and white with gold) had a killer Gretsch vibe to the looks. If it had soapbars instead of dogears, is have picked one up in a heartbeat and stuck TV Jones T-armonds in it for that killer 50's dynasonic tone.

Epiphone Dot: - Solid block in the middle - Humbucker pickups (beefy sounding, thick, round) Think jazzier, bluesier, and rock music. Epiphone Casino: - Full hollowbody, no block (Acoustically more resonant, - P90 pickups (chimey-er than the humbuckers, lot of feedback when distorted) Think Beatles, chimey/voxy surf-like music
