Fishman Matrix users tell me why you love this pickup!

Title says it all. I've been around the block but when it comes to gigging a pro install Matrix seems to do it all especially in conjunction with an aura box. Other users tell me about your experiences please.

I, too, have found the Matrix works well with Aura. It actually works well, with or without the Aura, in a carbon-fiber guitar as--owing to the material--it picks up the top and body vibrations along with its characteristically high string-vibration content.

The Matrix is one of the better UST pickups in that it is quite hard and IMHO doesn't noticeably alter the acoustic tone of the guitar. I remember verifying this when I had a Fishman Matrix/Natural 2 installed in a Huss & Dalton D-RH a decade ago: Lap piano before installation = Lap piano after installation. I've also had the Matrix installed in a Huss & Dalton DS, two Martin HD-28 axes, a Martin Custom D Mahogany, and a couple of other guitars with no noticeable alteration of acoustic tone.
