They did it:

This is everything I wanted for a long time.

Thanks for sharing. This looks really promising. I (and many others) were asking for the convenience of their FR5 platform, but for acoustics and I'm so glad they added a tuner and an XLR out. If it sounds good, this will be a strong contender in the market.

I wish it was battery or phantom powerable.

Interesting! I wonder what its retail/street price will be?

Phantom power doesn't have enough current to power the DSP portion of the product. By the way, I work for T21.

I really, really love my Tech21 SansAmp ParaDI. I've been using it for both acoustic guitar and jazzbox, although I have a Q\Strip on order for the acoustic.

I imagine the same $250 MAP as the electric versions.

This plus my Flyrig 5 would make a nice setup for my hybrid guitars. I guess I can put my looper after delay and reverb, though I'd rather have reverb last in the chain. And the bodyrez pedal first. It would be nice to able to choose between chorus and reverb though.

Anyone use this pedal for gigging and how do you like it?

I own one and gig with it. It is the swiss army knife for acoustic performers. I usually play in an acoustic duo or trio. The boost function is a great option, the compressor is excellent as well. The effects section is laid out thoughtfully for a performing musician. The best buy I have made in a long time.

I really wish it would use either batter power, or better yet be powered from phantom power (like my Tech21 SansAmp).

I would have bought one of these already if it wasn’t for the fact that to use it I would have to string a power adapter and extension cord across the floor. I like everything else about it.

They make adapters that you plug in like a power chord but attach a 9V battery to it. So any pedal in theory can be battery powered.

good to hear. It gets very little love around here, as compared to say the Tonedeq
