Default NFL 2014 season; how are things looking for YOUR team(s)?

The new season is CLOSE now. So, based on the draft, preseason play, scedule, and injuries, what do you see happening with your teams this year?

Dallas: I would be pleased if they break .500.

Carolina: Not as good as last year. I see maybe 8 or 9 wins. A wild card spot is their best hope.

Todd

High hopes for the Eagles. But I think that every year.
Seahawks look good.

Hey Todd, I'm looking for my Patriots to make the Playoffs again. Hopefully Gronkowski can stay healthy this year.

I love my Jets. I hate Rex Ryan. Worst coach ever. He ruined Sanchez`s career, then he ruined Tebow`s career. At least we got Decker to throw to, if Geno cam actally get the ball to him.

As for everyone else here:

Dallas - Garrett will be gone by week 6

Carolina - Still has great D

Detroit - I think Stafford will have a monster year

Eagles - Maclin back, DeSean gone. I think Foles was lucky last year

Pats - I hope my Jets whoop them up this year...

I'm excited for the start of the season. In spite of a few injuries during practice Green Bay looks good to go. Julius Peppers will be a huge asset. No team can double on him and Clay Matthews all day. Mr. Rogers has a fine group of receivers.

We'll win the NFC North again and hopefully a lot more.

Ups and downs. We still have an issue at QB although it has been improved upon, but the Homers will carry on like it's the second coming of Montana.
Injuries and suspensions on defense.
We are a good team with a lot of problems.

I'm in Florida and live within two hours of three teams.

All of which pretty much suck.

I may keep an eye on the Jaguars this year, though, and maybe the Dolphins.

I AM a Seattle native and used to really stick with the Seahawks. However, I haven't lived in Seattle for 32 years (though I go back to visit from time to time) and have grown apart from the team. I'll check on them during the season, though.

The Saints are geared up for such a good season that it almost feels like they're set up for disappointment. They got younger at most skill positions, very deep, fortunate with injuries, Brees at QB.

Downsides are a strong NFC and probably a tough division as well, depending on whether Carolina sustains their success, Atlanta recovers and Lovie Smith turns Tampa around with an attitude to match their talent.

The great thing about the NFL is that speculation means nothing, and every week matters. Can't wait!

I moved to MN last year. I've been indifferent to professional sports for most of my life but in recent years have gotten into the GB Packers once Favre was gone - while living in NE Wisconsin and the western end of MI's Upper Peninsula - and then the Steelers - while living in the former, alleged Steel City. Now I'm living in MN and wonder if supporting the Vikings in the near term will be generally rewarding or painful. Am open to any insights from those who pay more attention than I do.

Well lately my Steelers have been smokin'! Their pre-season performance shows this team has high hopes. And of course it looks like their running game will have the advantage of playing on grass both home and away this year.

If you don't want your hopes dashed........follow thw Lions>you'll never have to worry about the ups and downs, 'cause they're mediocre at their very best!

That's gotta be brutal, missing an entire season. It happens to some of the best players too, Manning, Brady included.
