I guess I was referring more to the first snippet...very close to the style I play and just curious of other players out there and the style so that I could find some new music to listen to.

That sounded really good sir, and kudos on your new HD-28!

I hope you will consider doing something similar with your 000-28 soon as both of these guitars are on my radar right now.

The first minute or so is "don't know why" from Norah Jones. Not sure what you would consider it.. I guess jazz/pop??? I think everything she does is pretty awesome.

Right after that piece I am just playing g some country/folk strummy stuff...

Default HD 28 (2018)

I got a great price from Maurys Music I almost hit the buy button. I chickened out.

I wanted this guitar several years ago, which was basically an HD28V, but I really had a tough time with the v neck. Was going to order custom - and I am glad I waited becasue the custom was going to cost almost a grand more than what I paid for this!

ANyway - I got a new Mic today that I wanted to test out so I took some sound samples of the HD28 if you are interested in hearing it. Trying to find the right mic placements was a bit difficult - once i found the sweet spot for the guitar I realized it was picking up my breathing on the quieter parts. I gave up trying since its a real pain to setup make and play guitar and not have a helper..

For those that care, the mics are an Oktava mc012 on the left channel and a Audio technica 20-40 on the right channel. Going through a presonus audiobox into studio one with a bit reverb and compression.

Anyway - here some sounds!

Thanks for posting this, Joe. You've helped me finally decide on an HD over a D. Based on this thread, I think Martin owes you. You're spurring sales!
