I recently acquired a Goodall classical guitar and I have come to understand they are kind of rare.

The label inside indicates it was made in Hawaii and the serial number is RCL5357. I sent an e-mail to Goodall asking about it but never heard back from them.

It is a wonderful guitar. (smile)

Thanks for the additional serial nos! They have been merged.

And congrats Larry on that "fresh from the oven" Goodall #6319! Is that the Madagascar CJ? Feel free to post some eye candy here

Thanks for contributing Steve. However, the dates doesn't seem to fit in our list. Are these completion dates that were supplied by Jean/James or purchase dates?

I purchased this Goodall guitar from American Dream Music, San Diego, CA. in 1984, on the reconmendition of my guitar instructor Mark Rounds. Love Bluegrass Flatpicking.

Serial #RS179 - Completed 12/18/1983 - Made in San Diego, CA.

This has nothing to do with your data base but having discovered the joy of Goodall ownership last year I have to say it is a shame the Goodall forum died. I would be a regular visitor if it was still active. (smile)

Mine is dated 3/22/04 and is #3627. Flawless instrument, in playability, appearance, and sound.

Default Suggestion and adds

Nice thread. A potentially usefull (at least amusing) add would be to insert tags (even just notes) between locations. I think it was San Diego, Ft. Bragg, Hawaii and back to Ft. Bragg.

HRCJC - 6076 - 2-28-2012
MhCJ - 6199 - 6-05-2013
PECJ - 6203 - 7-08-2013

All dates are directly from Jean Goodall via email. I'll post my MyJ when she lands this summer
