There are some excellent instructions on the net for making a really excellent version out of a NEW propane tank.
Check out Dennis Havlena's website instructions: http://dennishavlena.com/for-webpage-lp-hang.htm These are serious instruments if you care to get beyond the giggle response as a result of seeing the "Mona Lisa" version in the Elderly ad. Last edited by Rudy4; 03-21-2018 at 07:06 PM. |

I have never even heard of this instrument before this. The video of it being played sounds nice bit very much a niche instrument.

Wow. Thanks for posting. I'd never heard of such a thing. I forwarded the link to my guitar instructor. The guy in the video made it seem effortless to play which I'm sure, in reality, it is not.

Look up Dante Bucci. I'm especially fond of this set:

Yeah, I'll pass. $15,000 would fund a lot of GAS. Ditto the link posted to hangpanguru. At 10% those seem like a bargain, and are tuned to western style scales, but other than a couple studio uses I just don't see the need. In fact, the hangpanguru ones you'd need one for each key, which at $1800 per would add up quickly. |
