Default The Moon's A Harsh Mistress

Although Glen Campbell was a favorite of mine, I'd never learned any of his signature songs. Following his recent death, I decided to give one a try and of course had to pick one that he did with an orchestra and that had a key change integral to the song's impact. Well, this is what I came up with, albeit sans orchestra and key change, and in a much lower key than Glen sang it in. Moving it higher loses too much guitar bass.

It was recorded with a ZOOM Q3HD with audio tweeked in Audacity.

Nice job on this very delicate song! You do a very nice job on that classical guitar, too! Sounds good!

That was wonderful. It sounded at home on a nylon string guitar and you played the song soulfully. I'm not a singer so I'd like to find a solo fingerstyle arrangement of this lovely song.

Truly enjoyable to listen to. Thanks so much for posting. Made my day.

That Jimmy Webb guy knew how to weave a tale, didn't he?

Yes, Jimmy Webb was great. Until I started looking into this song on Youtube for ideas, I didn't realize that he performed as well as wrote.
