Martin 0-15 - New or Old
Very interested in a Martin 0-15, whether it's a vintage or new copy from Ted at LA Guitar Sales.
Mainly looking to buy, but am open to any and all offers. |

I’m a 00/000 guy but I’ve had a Bourgeois, Santa Cruz 1929 00, Martin 000-15S, 00-15, 00-15M, and 2 of Ted’s custom 00-15s (one of his stock one and a complete custom one) but all the nonsense stopped when I played my 1937 00-17 for the first time.
There is a nice one that’s well priced here on AGF (1935 0-17 http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=500148) by a guy who says he has numerous vintage 0/00-17s. I have no affiliation but I bought mine from the guys at Intermountain in Colorado. They were great to work with and I highly recommend checking them out. Just remember the pre-34s are 1 7/8” nut, 12 frets (bar). The late 34-mid 39 are the ones you’d want. 1 3/4” x 2 5/16” with 14 T-frets. The scale is Gibson 24.75” on these. In mid 39 they switched to 1 11/16” x 2 1/8” and in 44 they switched to straight bracing. Best of luck. |

Appreciate the tip! Probably a bit out of my price range, but something to keep in mind.

Martin 015
Reverb has some. A 1961 015 caught my eye.

Thanks all for reaching out - found a '58 0-15 on Reverb earlier this weekend that was very reasonably priced so I went ahead with that.
