Thank You
Still no vocals. I can sing and play. I cannot do both well at the same time.
I am experimenting with quick setups for recording. I used an I-Rig Pre HD to plug my AKG condenser mic into my iPhone 6s Plus which is providing the video. The downside of this rig is that it will do either guitar well or vocal well, not both at the same time. Need a 2nd mic. Got a Fishman Loudbox on the way. In theory I should be able to use the direct out from the amp to the I-Rig and use the Loudbox as a 2 channel mixer. FWIW, for quick hi quality recordings, The I-Rig Pre HD is totally worth the 100 bucks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzq2...ature=youtu.be

Nice playing, and great quality audio and video recording!
Hope you do get to add the vocals soon - that's a favorite Zep song! |

I was surprised about the quality as well. The audio is unprocessed. Between the AKG P-120 mic and the I-Rig Pre HD, i have less than 275 bucks invested there including the mic stand, shock mount, pop filter and cable. Maybe another 80 for the Audio Technica headphones. The latency is very low and the sampling rate is very high. The I-Rig was 99 dollars well spent and it provides the 48v phantom power for the mic on 2 AA batteries. The potential is there for a portable recording rig. If you try something like this make sure you charge the phone after every recording. It does suck it up the juice.
