Very well said. I share the same observation and couldn't have said it better. Sorry I'm not trying to sell a product (as I'm also a Fishman dealer). But I've played many different pickups, and I can't help but be so excited about Anthem. It's just a great pickup system for its sound quality and practicality.

That's a good point, from Joseph, on being able to leave in the mids with the Anthem. One of my Anthem-equipped guitars got considerable praise, last night, from a young player who borrowed it after breaking a string on his own guitar. We EQed it flat, and it deed indeed amplify especially well in his hands.

Second guessing going with a K&K and an AKG mic dual source. So gluing "things" to my bridge plate is not a good idea, hey?

Since my last reply, I played mine more in various venues and it is amazing. Just a very natural sound.

I'm seriously considering getting an Anthem for my newly acquired 714. I'm really impressed with the clips I'm hearing, and I've mostly heard excellent reviews.
