Default Gibson LG-2 American Eagle is on the way!

Over the past couple of years, I have discovered the lovely world of Gibson Acoustic guitars. While they may have a polarizing affect here, I have been enjoying my J-45 Custom Rosewood immensely and it's been my main squeeze since the day it has arrived around two years ago.

Just recently, I was looking to add a small body guitar to the party and was looking at a Martin 000, but along the way, I played a Gibson LG-2 AE and was really blown away by the fat, punchy, yet sweet tone of this small but mighty guitar, so I decided to pull the trigger on this little sweetie. She'll be here tomorrow.

More to follow.....I sure do hope she is a keeper!

Nice!
If it sounds as good as it looks.. then you've got a keeper for sure!

fine guitar. I've been seriously considering an LG-2 (or an L-00) as a 'smaller' guitar. they're way above my pay grade but they're on the shortlist.
good luck with the LG-2.

Very nice. The only reason I sold mine was to buy a birth-year-guitar for my grandson. Enjoy it.

I don't own a Gibby....but these are cool and would be at/near the top of my Gibby list. There is a lot to like about this LG2. I hope you enjoy it and do update the thread with your thoughts.

Didn't know about these at all but it looks great and the reviews (as well as thumbs up on this thread) certainly make it sound like something special.
Congrats & enjoy!

congrats! i've had mine for a few years now, and the ONLY thing i don't flat-out love about it is the glossy neck. just a personal preference. GREAT, surprisingly versatile guitars. enjoy!

One of Gibson's little gems at a great price. I have many days when I desire to buy one too; If one shows up used at a tempting price I just might.
