And they are easy to play with a good set up.

I have a Furch OM34, 45mm -- but the standard/available size is 43mm (1 11/16 is 42.8625) which is pretty close -- imo Furch/Stonebridge are worth considering.

Customer service, made in US, wood, tone, value, value, flawless craftsmanship, value? jmo I would check out a Larrivee.

Both are great guitars, and both have great voices. imo

My OM Larrivee has a larger body than the OM Furch, so if that's important ...

Larrivee.....15 5/16 lb.......9 1/2 w.......11 1/2 ub.......4. 5/16 eb.......3. 10/16 nj
Furch........15.................9................11 1/4...........3 15/16...........3.. 3/16

I fully intended on buying one of several smaller Larrivee (OM Pearl & oo 'Forum IV' hog) currently available (no affiliation yadda) in a Larrivee forum's classifieds -- but ran across a Gibson AJ a couple hours away, and crossed one off the bucket list.

I can (luckily?) play poorly just as well on any size nut. I stumbled across a '78 S. Yairi oo-sized 726, while haunting kijiji, and it's a seriously sweet massively-voiced (solid spruce t, layered? mahogany b/s) instrument. The 1 63/64 nut isn't for everyone tho. For those looking for something substantial tho, worth keeping an ear out for.

A furch OM32SM has that nut width as standard. Necks have a slightly chunky feel but allround very comfortable.

Current Road Series are 1 3/4. Previous ones might have been 1 11/16

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the original Farida Old Town. It has 1 11/16 and it always gets rave reviews here.
