Default Fender Acoustasonic 150 or Fishman Artist 125

I’ve done some research and have narrowed my acoustic guitar amp purchase to these two, unless I’m wrong. I’m looking for a clean acoustic sound. Does anyone have working knowledge of either or both or have any recommendations?

Default Amps

I’ve used both, and the Fishman definitely lends a cleaner sound, more authentic. Any one of the Fishman line gives a true sound.

My local Alto Music store had a Fishman Artist for $549 in mint condition. I went there and found a floor model Fishman Performer with a factory warranty. The tolex was totally beat to crap. Alto sells them new for $799 but I was able to negotiate the floor models price down to $629. The amp is well beyond what I hoped for.
With the acoustic quality of this amp I can’t believe that the padded tolex is paper thin. I’m going to look into disassembly and installation of proper tolex.

Now I’m going to have to sell my vintage USA built Fender Hot Rod Deville 410. Awesome electric amp that has twenty years of character - it really looks the part. I’ll miss it.

I think the Fishman will have an advantage for clarity and "sparkle", but the Fender amp is very dependable. I haven't spent any time dragging a Fishman amp around to gigs, but my gigging partner and I both use the Fender amps and I know they will hold up to the rigors of gigging and honestly I can't find anything in the sound of the amp that I would want to improve.
