2015 Mid-Year Taylor T5z 12-strings To Feature Expression System 2!

For folks, like me, who've hoped Taylor would bring the Expression System 2 to their 12-string, hybrid electric/acoustic guitars, the wait is over! According to Taylor Guitar's Summer 2015 Wood & Steel, beginning this mid-year, the Taylor T5z 12-String Semi-Hollow Body Hybrid Electric/Acoustic models will feature the ES2 as part of the pickup compliment. This means a more acoustic tone when favoring the ES2 part of the pickup system and making, IMHO, the T5z 12-stringers a more versatile model.

I think Taylor is referring to a new higher end 200 offering being upgraded from ES-T to ES-2 at the end of the blurb that otherwise discusses the remaining T5 class 12 string options; T5z Custom and Deluxe. So no need to go out and sell your soon to be obsolete ES-1 T5(z)...

You're correct! In my enthusiasm, I guess I misread the snippet in the magazine. I can hope, though!
