Is The Baggs LB6 Worth The Effort Nowadays?
I thinking of adding a ust on a classical guitar to use for the Jerry Reed style of funky playing, is the LB6 worth the effort of routing the bridge to fit or are there better bets. I have no interest in the k.k. and soundboard style pickups as it needs to have a fast response to get that piezo funky sound......any thoughts or suggestions?

Good question. I'll be watching this thread too. Are any certain preamps good matches would be another question.

I am also curious if this pickup works well for nylon string.
I don't see a YouTube video demonstration on nylon. I've been using the (long discontinued) Baggs Ribbon Transducer system for 28 years and I'm a bit concerned it will stop working at some point. |

I don't know much about pickups, only having had K&K Pure pickups in my acoustics. But Dominic Miller plays a K Yairi CYTME which I think has a Fishman Infinity pickup. Don't know if that's the sound you're looking for. You could check out his sound on YouTube videos... I held off on getting a pickup, hence my K Yairi is just a CYTM, but kind-a-wish I had had one installed when it was built!
