I appreciate that. I'm very excited to try and get my guitars into more hands.

I've been peeking with naptha as I go along, and on some of the contours the figure is really mesmerizing!

Really is a cool design and a refreshing take on what a guitar shape could be...

A quick update on this guitar. She's been sold. Must make my last few weeks with her good ones!

Default The end?

I hope there will be pictures of it under finish, and maybe a sound sample, before it goes to its new home. I'm intrigued.

I will try to get a a sound sample with my meager recording setup. I've decided to do a varnish finish to really pull out the anisotropic reflections in the mahogany ripples.

My client told me he likes a stronger break angle and that seemed to mesh perfectly with my usual efforts to taper my bridge height from saddle to bridge pins. On almost every guitar I seem to change my bridge design a bit, because I can't seem to find a shape that visually pleases me, and at the same time looks musical. I always fall back to that criteria. Does form follow function? In other words, does it look like it's made to make music?

This shape I'm quite happy with.

It just looks to me like it has the proper transition from the mass of the string anchor to the plate dynamics of the top.

I like it and it seems as though it will flow with the rest of the guitar design.

Well that was a fun read, and a boat load of fresh inspiration.
Thanks not only for pushing the envelope, but shoving it...successfully!
