That's way too orderly for a normal closet. Of course I'm declaring my closet as "normal". Maybe that's the problem.

our daughter got married last weekend. And, it was great! Just perfect!

My a1c is under 6!

(type 1 diabetic as of last year. Lots to learn, do and figure out, but it's not stopping this old man!)

Ya didn't I mention he can do magic
Just camera angle and long hair and he is hanging over the edge right at the slimmest part of his waist

Here is with his little sister with the "Time to go outside and play look "

Well if they don't fit in a 'non-depression' thread I don't know what will.

When NEXT Federal holiday arrives, I’ll be retired.

My neighbors here and I'm proud to say I'm one of the facility directors.

What's "non depressing here" is these two lost their wife/mom a year ago but have gone on with exceptional strength and optimism. I will not be surprised if we see Julia in the Olympics. If not, no surprise if she does things as she's always done - a smile, graceful and strong (inside and out).

Our ski club also has outreach programs where we have disabled vets, disabled kids, and underprivileged kids in programs.

One kid I've followed lost his dad and got strength and confidence on a bike and skis. A little secret I hold is the mountain biker woman who pedaled off 100 pounds on her bike. We have two living Olympians who coach kids. Our ski jump is quite ghetto relative to what's out there but it started some on their way to the Olympics.

It's a lot of work to keep the institution going but we're at 71 years of educating kids. About 450+ kids a year learning to be confident, strong, and be volunteers.

All that's very non-depressing.

Went to a high school basketball game tonight - was a playoff game in a big arena.

Canned music for National Anthem wouldn’t work, so cheerleaders kicked it off a cappella.

The big crowd picked up on it and sang it for real (not just mouthing the words).

Makes me wonder why it would be done any other way.

Bonus - Fergie was no where to be found!

My oldest got accepted to all of his graduate school options:
Emory (in Atlanta)
Vanderbilt
Ohio State
So proud of that boy. I visited Emory with him last week and he went to Vanderbilt this past weekend. He "drove around" Ohio State on the way home.
I'm pretty sure he's headed south and I'm anxious to see where he ends up.

Best thread ever !

One daughter had a boy last month, second daughter has one on the way in early March.

There is no better enjoyment than playing a guitar.
