It is afternoon here now, bright and sunny, 77 F. I spent the morning driving my Polaris Slingshot a few miles over to a giant yard and estate sale. Got to meet with some new guitar friends, and played a number of acoustics and electrics. The guy offering them doesn't play, so I enjoyed tuning and demo-ing about 15 for him. He sold three while I was there. Then I got to talk with folks about the Slingshot. Took one for a short ride. If her husband doesn't buy her one she will not be a happy camper!

Now if you will excuse me, I'm headed back out, this time with my own wife, hopefully. MY kind of mid-February Saturday!

Just got home from work. I can see some string changing in my future this weekend....

8.00am downunder.
Had my coffee.
Fed some mince beef to the Magpies.
Made myself some toast - going with peanut butter this morning instead of the usual vegemite.
Beautiful day - T-shirt weather.
Working up to mowing the lawns later this morning.

Snow here this morning. It finally stopped then the temp rose above freezing so it's all melting away.

I've for some reason become obsessed with Shake Sugaree today and have messed around with it in multiple keys. Why, I don't know, I can't sing in any key

I think I'll leave it in C since most all the blues stuff is E or A, so C will at least be different for a change.

I can't wait until it hits 70 degrees again. It's been a cold winter.

Another week-end morning enjoying a cup of coffee and catching up on the AGF News.

I spent an hour this morning shoveling snow that probably did not need to be shoveled...it’s sunny and getting warmer. But I needed the exercise, so it’s all good.
