Email massages
Well, it seems that Earthlink (my email provider) has turned over the administration of their email accounts to someone with amazing English called "webupgradecenter"--who, by the way, uses a hotmail account.
I received an email this morning where the "webupgradecenter" tells me: "Web-mail Owner EarthLink.Net We just confirmed that you have not upgrade to the new web-mail version. That is why we are sending you this massage to upgrade your account now. This is because we are preventing your web-mail from closure. And also we have notice that your mail have been used for sending spam mail to other mails. . . ." It seems that if I don't "send a verification massage" (including my user name, password, date of birth, and last log-in date) "within (1) week of receiving this warning" that I will lose my account. Well, I am anxiously awaiting my massage from them but my question is, how do I send them a "verification massage" in return via email??? Isn't that something you kinda have to do in person? Or do I hire an outcall masseuse for them?

It sounds like you have been scammed.
Or as you say massaged.  I think it is time to close that email address and get a new one. Especially if you gave them your password. It's too bad because you will lose out on all the Nigerian 419 scam emails. But, don't worry becasue they will eventually find you again.
