Here is the full rig:

Most often it's just the guitar, amp, and Roland ME-50.

When I'm playing more spacy stuff, I bring along the 2nd rig. The GT-10 has a bunch of weird patches, very synth and ethereal sounding. I never use it for imitative sounds.

I only use the ME-50 for reverb (Egnater doesn't have one), delay, modulation/chorus, and volume pedal. I don't use any of the amp modeling stuff there either.

All the guitar tone comes from the Egnater... and though I have distortion pedals I prefer the sound of the tube distortion in the Egnater 90% of the time.

I was wondering when the first pic would show up - thanks! You've got some great gear.

Off topic ... how did you come up with Psalad as a username? Does it have anything to do with salad?

1. Squire CV Tele--Carl Martin Opto-Compressor--Bad Monkey--Mega T30R

2. Hagstrom Swede--Carl Martin DC Drive--Fender Mustang II V.2

I play mostly clean but selectively use the pedals when called for. The DC Drive is used exclusively as a clean boost to trigger OD in the Mustang.

I use this black cable they sold me at the guitar store.

My amp is a Fender modeling amp (shuddup) and that's good enough for me in terms of effects with the Fender Fuse software. I'm just a wanna-be. I'm lucky to find a half-hour a week in which to get funky.

I might like a wah pedal one of these days.

Nice gear gathered over many years.

The name is a short version of an old band name... just kinda stuck as a handle.

Zoom MS-50G -> powered full range speaker (QSC K10 or Roland KC-110).

Thanks, I was just curious. I thought maybe you were a vegan (of course, perhaps you are).

Good idea - speaking as a fellow Godin CW II owner (mine's also a blondie, BTW) you want to get as much extraneous junk out of the signal path as possible, and just let those P-90's hammer the tubes into tonal nirvana...

I didn't expect it to sound so cool distorted! I was thinking I'd mainly use it for cleaner stuff, but it sounds great distorted... I play it better since I had it set up for 11s as well and I don't noticed much difference in plugged in tone either.

It's a great guitar, ain't it? Feeds back nicely and it is surprisingly controllable most of the time.

Les Paul generally straight into a Hot Rod Deluxe, and I'm ordering my Tweed Deluxe kit when I get back from vacation. Pedal board has four tenants currently - a tremolo, Bluesbreaker, Fuzz Face, and original spec Big Muff Pi (all kit built clones, and all true bypass). I'll likely order a Tube Screamer kit at the same time as the amp just to round out my collection.

If it's more complicated than a Fender Telecaster, I don't want to be bothered.
