"Pua Tuberose" shot on an iPhone
I finally found a couple of tools that make the iPhone a lot handier for "Look At Me Play Guitar" video. The iRig Pro lets me put a nice microphone close to the guitar while Camera Plus with its AirSnap feature lets me use my iPad as a monitor and controller for my iPhone.
I posted about this in another thread over in the Record section: http://69.41.173.82/forums/showthread.php?p=4558095 Pua Tuberose is a sweet old Hawaiian song, a song of lost love as so many are. I first heard it by Sonny Chillingworth on his Sonny Solo Dancing Cat CD and later heard Ledward Kaapana do it often in his ballad medleys. My version is in taropatch open G tuning and explores variations on the song at different positions. I shot the song twice to get different camera angles, then spliced the better bits together in my NLE, Edius. Fran

Hi Fran, I really enjoyed the video and your playing as always was excellent. I'm really impressed with the audio/video quality you achieved with your iPhone 6+ and the iRig.
I posted a couple of question for you on your other associated message thread. Mahalo.
