Default Where to get cheap mic stand/cable?

So I just bought a Blue Spark condenser mic today, brought it home all excited to plug it in and start recording but opened up the box and realized there were no cables/desk stand included. SO tomorrow morning I'll need to run somewhere to get a stand and cable. Does anyone know of a cheap place to get these things? I just spend $220 today on that microphone, can't afford to spend much more.

Hopefully you DID get the shock mount...
Condensers are pretty much unusable without a shock mount. If you're going to use it for vocals you must also have a pop filter.
You should be able to find an inexpensive stand and XLR cable locally or through websites such as Musician's Friend.
Don't go the too cheap route, it's not good economics to purchase a mic stand (or cable) that you won't have long before needing to replace again.
The Blue Spark is listed as a medium diaphragm size.

I've used my condensor mic for several years with no pop filter. I just position it carefully and am careful.

Take a look at "monoprice" I bought a lot of different cables from them. Good quality and service.

From what I've read the "accessories" like shockmount and pop filter are rather flimsy. Be Careful.
Are you using this mic while sitting thus wanting a desk stand? If so consider the weight of the mic. Would it topple the stand.
When it comes to mic stands, booms and cables this is not an area you want to
skimp out on. Sorry for the bad news but this is why I want to know beforehand what is included so I can factor in any additional costs.
That said I do hope you find what you need at a reasonable price and that you dig your new mic.

It all depends on if you're a *spitter* Some people 'pop' more than others when singing. SOme poeple make a lot of mouth noise (clicks, etc).

Never needed a shock mount for recording guitar.

Try for example Musician's Friend.

Don't go too cheap on the stand and cables (20ft or more).
Nothing worse than a flimsy stand.

Fully agreed that the purchase of cables is no place to be scrimping and saving.
