Default New Partscaster Esquire Build

Guitarfetish Poplar body
Decoboom pickguard
Fender American Professional neck (C profile and highly flamed)
Fender Locking Tuners
Fender Modern bridge with mini ashtray and bullet compensated saddles
Cavalier Holy Grail Nocaster pickup (staggered pole high output single coil 10K 43 gauge wire)
3 way switch (cocked wah position, normal, tone control bypass)
7.5 lbs

This is probably the best Tele style guitar that I have built yet. With each build I'm learning more and more about setup. Although it capable of some serious twang the output is there for some serious rocking.

Demo...

Whoa…love that! I’m a sucker for Teles. This is right up my alley. Very nicely done. Stunning. I’d wager it plays/sounds outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that is off the charts cool. The bridge looks like it'd be very comfy. I love how the graphics on the pickguard color match the body. And the flame on the neck is icing on the cake. Wonderful work!

The smoothest operator I know out of Ogden, Utah, showcases another crisp, mean and clean build direct from the DannyBoyStudios⭐️ Nicely done Dano.

And your demo sounds like a great road trip song to me.

Happy New Year cowpoke.

Love that color, also like the idea of the "cocked wah" forward switch setting.

Congratulations on that great looking build.

Hi Frankie boy! How's my brother from a different mother I'm glad you like that song. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

As for the guitar I spent a lot of downtime because of a wicked case of COVID so the build kept me busy. I was sick almost 4 weeks with it, and I'm just now getting back to 100%. I'm vaxed for both the flu and Covid yet I still had some heavy symptoms with this one. Funny it took two weeks before I realized it was Covid, I thought I just had a bad flu, but then as I got worse the symptoms started adding up, and then I tested positive with a home kit. But as I said, I was home in the downtime, so I had a lot of time to build and rebuild guitars.

Thanks Frank, the cocked wah took a bit of dialing in, I tried a few different caps to get it in the zone (frequency) I wanted. It's funny, before I had this guitar together I had this same control panel with a slightly lower gain pickup (7K Cavalier Nashville Lion) in a different body. It sounded pretty good, but when I used a slightly hotter pickup (10K Cavalier Nocaster Holy Grail) the circuit came alive. I also like the tone control bypass position better with the hotter pickup. I am a real fan of Cavalier pickups, that guy knows how to wind great Tele pickups.

OK Danyule,
I have to ask-did you bring that pick guard over to the body and fender guy that paints your guitar builds, or was that perfect color match a genuine case of serendipity?

And, I am very happy you are on the mend and feeling like yourself again.

I saw the body on Guitarfetish's site and it looked like a really close match!!! I wish I had a body and fender guy that paints my bodies

Thanks, glad you like the song!!! And, I prefer rosewood boards too. I also like pao ferro and ebony, I'm just not a fan of maple (my fingers stick to it).
