UltraSound Pro 250 vs. Genz Benz 150LT
Anyone care to chime in on these two great units. Significant differences? Just straight across the board kinda comparison.
I was leaning toward the Genz Benz because of finances, but I can get either now. I personally want a full-sized Amp, rather than a small one. Thoughts anyone.......

I've had a Genz Benz Shen Pro for years, most venues have house systems now but I still use it every day at home with an extension cabinet as a PA.
If you can find a used Shen Pro the advantages over the 150 are: 1) 200 watts, ridiculous headroom which meands "clean" 2) 2 effects engines, you can run reverb through one channel and chorus through the other 3) Tube preamp, INVALUABLE!!! You can go from dry to full tube pre, which allows you to blend in enough tube to kill any shrillness or harshness from pickups or microphones and add just enough warmth to get a smoother sound. Personally I would rather have a used Shen Pro than a new 150LT. Good Luck!!

I have an Ultrasound Pro250 and love it...the technical specs and the effects capabilities are at the link below. I can't really compare in to anything because it's the only acoustic amp that I have ever owned. Never heard a Genz-Benz. My friend's DS4 is a nice little amp as well. Pro250 works great at home and I have been told that it would be good for playing out. What I like about it more than anything is that my guitars sound like my guitars, and when my friends come over and plug in, their guitars sound like their guitars. It's really pretty amazing...
