For Sale: 2012 Martin CST 000-28 [Price Drop]
2012 Martin CST 000-28w/OSHC Price covers PayPal fees and shipping -- assuming you're in the continental United States. I'm not sure I feel comfortable with shipping the guitar outside of the country. Also, we could work out a discount if you're able to pick the guitar up in Seattle.Price: $4̶0̶0̶0̶ $3500 I have no particular need to sell the guitar; I simply have been looking at getting a Fender Stratocaster, and I'm at the point where before one guitar comes in another should head out. I've really loved this guitar. In fact, I've enjoyed it so much, that I ended up purchasing a pair of Martin Authentics (OM-28 and OM-18). I believe the guitar to be in great condition, and I'll take as many pictures/videos as necessary. It's rarely left my home, which is a smoke/pet/kid free environment. I did upgrade the (ugly) chrome grovers to (pretty) gold waverlies. I had these replaced professionally by a local luthier. FWIW, I've sold/traded a Taylor 314 and Taylor 516 on this site previously. It's possible there were others, but I'm failing to recall definitively any other guitars off the top of my head. OVERVIEW An exquisite mix of tonewoods and construction to produce sweet music for years.Part of an extremely limited run, Martin's CST 000-28 Mad with Cocobolo Wedge Acoustic Guitar features a nice array of select tonewoods to give you a guitar with tonal impact as well as aesthetic appeal. It features a mahagony body, Madagascar rosewood sides and, as the name suggests, a Madagascar rosewood back with a cocobolo center wedge. The Italian Alpine Spruce top has Adirondack scalloped Golden Era bracing and is complemented by a Style 28 rossette and Delmar faux tortoise 3071 pickguard. The black ebony fingerboard has highly flamed koa binding and is adorned by Style 28 pearl inlays as well as black boltaron side dot inlays. This CST 000-28 also has a mahogany dovetail neck joint with a high figured flame koa heel cap. Other appointments include Style 35 purfling, highly flamed koa back binding, a 2-way adjustable 356mm truss rod, bone nut, a square tapered headstock, and a black ebony bridge with Grover chrome tuners [note: these will be included, but have been upgraded to Waverly].
