FS: Webber Advanced Jumbo w/ Fishman PU $1865
Hi Folks;
This is Webber's Advanced Jumbo design; a rare product. I'm re-listing here, now, as it appears the only way to edit the title. And I have to admit to being a bit shame-faced about not realizing or appreciating the unique characteristics of this fine sounding guitar at the outset. A fine instrument -- and a good time to buy, as it is not yet 'summer Hot', so shipping is still a safe bet. I'm the second owner of this instrument. It's a 2008 build, started it's life in MI, then to NY, and came into my hands as both the previous owner and I headed west. It's a lovely guitar -- but simply put, it's not getting the attention it deserves -- I've "down-sized" to a 000. More images of this instrument at: http://s1288.beta.photobucket.com/us...library/Webber $1865 OBO includes CONUS/Canada shipping & Paypal. Sorry, no trades. So many of you already know all these details, but I'll reiterate them for those occasional or new readers: David Webber is a veteran luthier and makes phenomenal instruments. His individually hand crafted instruments are considered in many leagues above a factory made Taylor or Martin, which run around a similar price point. Check out David's web site - but you won't find this particular instrument listed. I guess you could say it boasts casché for being a rare item. http://www.webberguitars.com/index.html • Maker: Webber [Canada] • Model: Advanced Jumbo Dread • Back/Sides Wood: East Indian Rosewood • Top Wood: Sitka Top • Neck Wood: Mahogany [Single Piece] • Bindings: Koa • Rosette: Koa • Tuners: Webber/Gotoh w/ Ebony Buttons • Headplate: Ebony • Headstock Inlay: Wood • Bridge: Ebony • Fingerboard: Ebony • PickGuard: Clear • Fret Markers: None • Side Markers: Silver Circles • Frets to Body: 14 • Cutaway: No • Case: TKL Hardshell • Pickup: Fishman Matrix Infinity • Nut Width: 1-3/4" • Scale Length: 24.9" • String Spacing at bridge: 2-1/4" • Lower Bout: 16-1/2" • Body Depth at the End Pin: 4-1/2" • Condition: Near Mint! This instrument has been kept and played with great care. Never gig'ed, and in a smoke-free home. 25" scale makes for easy finger style playing - and a Powerful presence for rhythm! Simply, it has a Big voice. Search as you may for dents or scratches, you'll find this guitar next to flawless. Thanks for taking a chance to peek… Send PM's to [email protected] as I don't check this forum often enough. Regards, Kevin Last edited by wishicouldpick; 06-14-2014 at 05:47 PM. |

A short-scale Webber jumbo. Wow. You won't find many of these. Good luck with your sale. Most people know the high quality guitar David Webber consistently builds.

Don't know how this one snuck by without me noticing. Short-scale Webbers are my absolute favourite, but the AJ shape doesn't agree with my body size and shape. Someone will be very happy with this.
