It is Lutz over Primavera, which is similar to mahoggany tone wise. Also did ebony board and bridge. 169 will be Lutz on Wenge, going for a more strumming jumbo like guitar, but I am not sure what the shape could be equated to .... will be slightly larger GA. On that one, I've asked Ed to go a little further outside the box .... starting with the Wenge and then a Zircote fretboard, and since this is intended to be the elusive do everything rock acoustic player, will have a cut-away. I'm excited, it's a brand new shape for Ed that he's been thinking about for a while (because my needs sort of crossed something he is considering for himself).

Cool. I went back in this thread and found your post for #69. Beautiful guitar. I'll be looking forward to pictures of #169.

Darn, I didn't know Ed was already up in the 200s!

I don't get on here much anymore, but put #27 on the list.

Delivered mid-June 2013
25.5" Scale, 1-11/16" Nut Width
South American Mahogany back, sides, and one-piece neck.
Lutz Spruce top
Ebony fretboard and bridge
Upgraded to Colossi Endpins and Saddle (not in video)
Tapered bracing

And as promised, a demo video I did about three years ago.

Default Halcyon 000 12-Fret #123

I’m not the original purchaser/orderer of this fine crafted specimen, however I got a fantastic deal on Reverb.com from the original owner who was cutting down on his guitar collection. This beautiful guitar has been my main played for the last 8 months and I’m loving it! The bass, mids, and highs are punchy with a heavy strumming hand, but blend magnificently for fingerstyle. My only complaint is that I am cut off at the 12th fret, but I didn’t fret.. I just put in an order for a Tinker SJ! Stay tuned for a build thread and eventual NGD..

Also.. new to this forum, so how the hell do I post pictures??

Ty
