The above is really simple logic. A player with a admitted large hand saying there is redemption in the struggle of adapting may be cool but I think there are reasons most guitar makers offer different neck options. I think the struggle is more with carbon guitar makers, wood guitar makers routinely offer any number of profiles to fit the guitarists desire.
