Default cordoba fusion

hi; I went to "sam ash" today looking into buying a Cordoba classical guitar . they're website makes all their guitars look really nice. I tried the main one that I liked ,the fusion 12 or something like that . I could play it!! the neck was so out of whack you couldn't even fret a C barre chord.i want to like their guitars but how can I? I do not want to send away for a guitar that I won't like.

sorry you had that experience. My Fusion 12 is my favorite guitar these days.
I bought it sight unseen and would do so again.

I have a Fusion 12 and it too plays great. Must have found a bad one. It happens. Look at some of the other threads about real hi end guitars that folks have issues with. I dont think its WHO you buy from, like the GOOD ones go here and the bad ones go there. Just the luck of the draw.

I bought mine from a member here, but I would be comfortable buying from any of the online stores with good return policies.
I would not judge a whole guitar line based on one example hanging on the wall in a store.

Default Just got one too

Maybe you just found a bad one or it just need a bit of setup.

I bought a Cordoba Fusion 12 about 2 weeks ago.

I am steel string player and the smaller neck profile feels very comfortable to me.
Out of the box the guitar was set up poorly, the neck has a forward bow and nut slot were cut too high (at least on mine)

I inspect the guitar carefully and ask the store guy for the truss rod wrench. Tighten the truss rod a bit and the neck is all good and decide the purchase. Once I got home, I cut the nut slightly lower and now it plays very-very well, I don't even need to shave the saddle at all.

Good review Rudy. I too have found the fret ends near the sound hole needed a bit more attention than normal. Some of the others needed the help of a fret tool from Stew/Mac. Other than that my Fusion 12 in maple plays and sounds great.Nice clean construction and good fit all around. I posted earlier that I found a Takamine hard case built for parlor size guitars fits my Cordoba perfect.
