String life
On steel strings i usually get 3 weeks out of them before corosion kicks in.
With nylon, i am not seeing any thing happening, How long should they last with at least a hour of play per day?

A great set of strings should sound great after 3 months and hold out for six before loosing it.

I was happy to learn that nylon strings last so long too, when I got into that about a year ago. The only time I changed strings, I moved from Augustines to D'Addarios. Big difference in tone, but I liked both although the latter sounded very close to steel stings for about a week, at least on the low E and A strings.
Happy New Year to all. Oddly, there is hardly any snow here although the weather has turned very cold over the last 3 or 4 days.

Way back when (don't ask how far back, please), D'Addario used to have sets of classical strings in 9-string packs: two sets of wound basses and one set of nylon trebles. Don't know if anyone still does this (but they should)...
Phil PS: nylon strings last just about forever...my wife's 26 string celtic lap harp has had the same strings for going on 15 years and they're still going strong.
