Default Acoustic Guitar Forum 4 CD- Joe Barbieri

I recently acquired the Forum 4 CD - very nice !

My favorite piece in the collection is
THIS WEDDING DAY - by Joe Barbieri

I was not familiar with Joe until now.

This song is from an album project Joe has underway.
I've had the opportunity to hear the other songs he will have on the CD
and
I want to share how much I've enjoyed them.

If you enjoy songs that

- have a good melody and harmony
- you can hear and understand the words being sung
- have a 'message' - and that message comes from the heart
......out of personal experiences
- have excellent technical quality and vocal talent
- and feature excellent guitar playing and other instruments

then you may well enjoy Joe's music as much as I do

- Larry

I would certainly have to agree with that.

Yes, I got to hear ' Headin North '
and it is also one of my favorites.

I've not heard AFG1 - AFG4 is the only one so far.

Joe's songs are touching because they deal with strong emotional
experiences most of us have had....
or will have...
like with his song " Old Man Now "

I was listening to it on my birthday ( by chance ? )
and it rang true

I like his music so well I would pay to hear him in concert.

Wonder what he's doing wasting his time at Fishman?

Joe's not wasting his time there... he's good at his job there as well. They are lucky to have him.

I enjoy Joe's music, and am thankful that he's shared some of it via our AGF CDs. Good stuff!

We all know that... and I'm sure Fishman knows it also...
