I use a "George Dennis GD25 Panorama Stereo Volume Pedal" as the last pedal before going out to a pp6v6 and se6L6...but put a fx verb and or delay between the GD25 and the amps. Works great and can use to pan, blend and set 1 amp as a bit dirty and the other clean.

"Route 1 input to 2 outputs, or 2 inputs to 1 output."

I've had that pedal for many years. It was recommended by a friend.
I have no idea if it's 'the best' but it's dual powered which I prefer.
I did a little research and I guess Morley thinks it is "World’s best selling ABY switcher/combiner" ? idk
This may not be the 2 amp situation you are speaking of but the spanking this guy puts on a Schector!?!

The Morley looks to be a reasonable good basic ABY switcher. as is the Radial Big Shot . However for the way I am looking to use a 2 amp system my switching unit has to have a minimum of two inputs and two outputs ( at least 4 connection jacks) an I also want and isolation transformer on on output channel and the ability to phase/polarity switch one channel

That video is a good demo of some of the sonic possibilities with two amps, but I can't tell for sure which exact method he is using, either . While it could be a wet/dry system, I suspect he is using the stereo method. The overdubs that are going on, that make it really hard .

This video does explain the difference between a True stereo (2 amp) system and a Wet/Dry (2 amp) system . Albeit they take an inordinate amount of time to get to the point, via a fairly convoluted route. It talks about a stereo system at the start , but does not really get into the nuts and bolts of wet/dry until about 17:00

There are numerous variations on "Two Amp" systems compounded in number further by FX loops on amplifiers.

And I am interested in hearing what methods of the various possibilities people are using.

For clarity I'll see if I can explain my specific situation in a clear basic form.
Currently I am interested in a Wet/Dry method, all mono

I have two amps and a pedal board.

On the pedalboard I have two mono FX pedals, an OD and a Delay + a tuner and a 2 channel looper.
So my signal flow is from the guitar > Tuner > OD > Delay > Looper

On the pedal board I want split the signal after the OD pedal.
So one channel goes straight to one channel of looper then into one channel of switcher.
The other channel goes to the Delay and then looper, then to the switching unit

From the switching unit the each channel will got into the front inputs of the two amps (no FX loop involved)
