Very sorry to hear of your loss.
I lost my mom at the age of 77.
I thought I'd have ten more years with her,
but no, we lost her.
I still miss her every day.

So sorry for the passing of your Mom. It's so hard. May your memories of her lighten your grief.

It’s tough losing your Mom. Sorry to learn this, Barry. In my own way, I know how you’re feeling. My Mom passed away at 81 last March after three months of my wife and I being her full-time primary caregivers. It’s an emotional rollercoaster. Be strong!

Please add my name to the list of your AGF friends who are sorry for your loss, Barry. Now is an important time to remember the good times, and to reflect on the life lessons your Mom taught you. Most were probably when you were young, but I wouldn't be surprised if she still had things to teach you in her last days. Mine certainly did!

You've honored your Mom by sharing your love for her here. Giving you a virtual hug - as you know I'm sharing your pain right now. We need to honor their legacy by living the rest of our days as they would have wanted us to.

Keep cracking those jokes and being there for those around you. She's probably already come back to sprinkle angel dust on you so you can do those things in her place.

It's all been said. We have all experienced this sort of loss and it doesn't get any easier, apart from knowing that your Mum is no longer in pain or suffering the wicked little problems that old age provides us.

Celebrate a wonderful woman, and remember that she lives as long as you and others remember hers.
