Default Bose ToneMatch preset

Does anybody know what the Bose TM guitar preset actually does?

It will preset the EQ based on an algorithm that is specific to the instrument or application or mic.

So on the S1 Pro it’s just a set EQ. Does anyone know exactly what the settings are?

Aero, I don't know... on my Bose T1 Tonematch mixer, there are "generic" presets for acoustic guitar of all types - w/ condensor mic, w/ Piezo, Fingerstyle w/ mic, etc...

Then there are specific models of various brands of guitars, heavy on the Taylor and Martin models, as well as other makes.

Each of these has a different "sound"... but I have no idea of what they used for the S1 Pro unit. There is a site called The Bose Portable PA Forum that is run by folks who work for Bose. I suspect that, if there is an answer available, they can give it to you...

Whatever "patch" they used, it sounds really good from the various sound samples of the unit that I have heard...

The S1 uses the Acoustic with Piezo ToneMatch setting. If you load that up on the mixer does it tell you what the presets EQ settings are?

no... it gives you bass, middle and treble controls but they begin set flat... even the parametric eq is set flat.

If there's a way to "dig in deeper" and find those values, I don't know how it's done.

Again, I would query Bose about it. I do believe that it's more than "just" revamping the tone settings, however...
