Default A "crossover" pick that works?

I think they call them "crossover" picks: thumb picks that you can also use for strumming. I think I tried one of these some years ago, but it really didn't work. Anyone know of one that does work?

I think you are talking about the Herco picks. The blade looks just like a regular flat pick but it's molded with a thumb wrap band. I find them pretty useless as a thumbpick. The band is too weak and isn't long enough to fully secure around the thumb. It's a great idea but needs to be further developed.
