Default Pickup for Emerald X-20

I posted this in the CF section, but it may get more play in here...

I'm going to order a new X20. Should I just stick with the B Band pickup they install or just have them put the K&K in for the extra $150?

I don't play out much and rarely plug in. Plus, I am not crazy about the barn door controls on such a beautiful guitar.

In the back of my mind I am always thinking resale down the road.

Thoughts?

I have a very nice Emerald one year old. Its a 12 string, Woody top, and I asked them to install a Lyric. One might wonder why I did that but I am very happy I did. The sound is crisp, clear, deep, and captures the resonance of the small body which adds warmth and that acoustic sound. Unplugged this guitar does not sound good nor did I expect it to. But plugged in with the Lyric into my Shertler amp, the sound is about as good as it gets.
