When I leave the Gretsch in my guitar stand in my practice rig overnight, I wake up and come into the room and the Sun is shining thru the window right on the guitar, which lighten's up the whole room !! It's just one of those coincidences that are really cool !!! The gold top finish just glows !!!!

Yes the Gretsch is infectious, I'd love to have one of their hollow bodies someday....not today though...

Awesome. Gretsch is my favorite company for electrics. I just love 'em. Used to own several, including the double cutaway version of yours, in silver.

Congrats and enjoy!

Amazing collection. (Some of the most stunning guitars on the planet right there).

If I wasn't a Telecaster player I would own a Gretsch hollow body. (As it is I own a fantastic Samick Royale thin line semi which hardly gets played anymore).

I'm retired so I have a lot of time on my hands, and will be able to use this stuff for the next 20 years, then sell it or give it to my estate when I die.
Lovely guitar.....I hope that you have many years of pleasure playing it. What style of playing will you like to play on her?

Well I'm planning on doing some covers of Led Zepplin, Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Pink Floyd, Brian May for starters....this is just to get my licks practiced, then it's on to writing and recording original stuff like Chuck Berry type tunes that I've had kicking around for a long time. They are basically simple boogie type tunes but I want a certain sound. I've also got some ideas for some ethereal type songs that are just plain fun to listen to. After that it's anybody's guess. I like to just turn the tape on and jam out and see where it goes.
