Default Mackie PPM series

I am researching how to get lighter with my rig. I usually play by myself but occasionally have another guitar player and another singer....4 inputs would be all I would ever really need. I have an 808s now and have been using them for 10 years. That unit sounds **** good through two Mackie 10s (non powered) and has a lit of headroom. I saw the new Mackie rig with the break away mixer and it has me intrigued for sure. I already have a Thump go for a floor monitor if I don't use my in ears so I could add that to the Mackie rig...but there is another thread about that.

I looked and saw that the PPM series is waaaaaaay lighter than my old 808s. Does anyone here have experience with that powered mixer in a situation similar to mine? If so, what say you?
