Default String options for NCX 700 (mahogany/spruce) ?!

Hello, folks.

Actually im using medium fender ball end strings on it, and it´s okey.

I´m wondering if ncx 700 can handle harder tensions...
Even more, i´m looking for a better sustain/softer/warmer strings too..

Any toughts ?

Thanks!

Hi, First of all, I would not use ball end strings on a classical guitar. They
should be tied down the standard way. The strings I would recommend are
D'Addario EJTT Dynacore strings in Hard Tension. It has Dynacore Basses
and Titanium trebles which are the middle point between nylon and carbon.
Not too high and not to soft but provide great balance with the basses.
These are the strings I use on my Cordoba C10 after trying out many brands
and types of strings, Remember that the best strings are the ones that
sound good to you. Also Classical guitars are designed to use strings with
a total tension of 94.00. Do not use extra hard tension strings as many bad
things can happen. The EJTT hard tension that I use have 90.4 total tesnion
for the set which is no strain on a classical guitar neck, top or bridge. Good
luck. Regards
