Larry, try to get them to hold off your concerts until Sat or Sunday, as I can't be there until then. Same with you, Doug Young!

I hope to play well enough someday to play there. That would be a blast!

My workshop is on Friday (2:30-4) and I have a mini-concert Friday at 1. Looks like the min-concerts will be outdoors this year, which should be interesting. But the luthier's demos are still being arranged, I think, so they're likely to be scattered thruout the show.

I'll be there—performing, teaching, and demoing (Monica Esparza and hopefully someone else...)

Should be fun!

I look forward to seeing you all there and I am really looking forward to hearing Jenn play her new Baranik and to Larry playing his new Kraut!

Jayne
I'll bring it along, Jayne! I'll be happy to play a tune for you and let you play for me!

Like Steve said, we'll be there. Hope the venue change works out, it was kinda fun hearing the Huey Lewis sound check last time.

I've told my wife we are going this year. It will be good to put faces to people's names.

I suppose I should get my vacation scheduled before my boss fills up my time.

Its a little premature to discuss demo concerts since none of us have been guaranteed a spot ... yet. The demo concerts time slots are far less in quantity than the total number of exhibitors. I am sure most all of us builders would like to have a spot but the spots are on a first come first serve basis determined by a time dated telephone lottery that has not taken place yet. There are lots of behind the scenes stuff that takes place that the general public is not even aware of

I'd have to leave the area to avoid it as my shop is just about 15 miles from the venue. Every time they change venues they move the event a little close to me. Coincidence? I don't think so, so I am going to have an open shop event for this one. It'll be in the evening, be an opportunity for folks to see exactly what I'm up to, and because I am always about the music, I will expect there to be be plenty of people sitting around playing and that I will be welcome to join in. I have been thinking Saturday because Tom Ribekke's party has become more entertainment than participatory, and I doubt I am alone in having been there enough times. But I haven't really decided yet, Friday being the alternative.

I do like Healdsburg— very quaint with many nice local wineries— but this year I think I'll go to Santa Rosa for the guitar show.....
